Cassandra Castillo has been broken for a long time, but manages to keep going thanks to the help of her best friend, Becca Jones. Being inseparable from the start with nothing able to tear them apart, or so Cassie would like to believe. Yet everything changes when she begins dating the most popular boy in school, Hugh Squire, the guy her best friend is secretly in love with.
