This young adult/fantasy novel tells the story of two very different cities. Beth is a young girl living in Cloud Town (a city full of fun, chocolate lakes, and dragons). Her and her best friend Sam live a great life working at the Cloud Factory (a factory that makes literally clouds), until Sam turns 15 and has to transfer to another mysterious city: En likas. Once Sam leaves, a chain of unusual warnings and painful events leaves Beth worried about what is waiting for her on her 15th birthday. What mysteries wait for her in En likas? What does it mean to be an "adult?" Is En likas better or worse than Cloud Town?
