Trailer for Rent is a collection of stories about an eleven-year-old girl who lives in a trailer park. She is a bit of a Pippi Longstocking in that she has a magical quality about her and seems to know how to help people in the park deal with poverty, prejudice, spiritual needs and self-esteem.

Robin Rule has been a poet since 1966. This is her second collection of short stories. Rule has been the recipient of a California Arts Council Fellowship. She's read at Club des Poesie in Paris and Sigh Johnny's, a pub on the Left Bank, as well as many bookstores, universities, colleges and coffeehouses in the Great Northwest. She is the author of four books of poetry.
