L.R. (Linore Rose) Burkard was raised in NY in a family of ten with book-loving parents. Shelling out money to the library for overdue books was a part of life. At 18, Linore became a Christian, left home shortly afterwards and worked her way through college at CUNY, earning a magna cum laude degree in English Literature. She is the author of a trilogy of regency historical romances with Harvest House Publishers. With the Pulse Effex Series, Linore proved an ability to cross genres as a writer, moving into YA/Suspense with ease. Her young adult books appeal to readers of all ages, and "affirm the power of faith in the darkest of times." Married with five children, Linore now lives in Ohio where she enjoys swimming, hiking and being a mom. She teaches workshops for writers, and is in the production stages of the upcoming podcast "The Thriving Writer," slated to debut in late fall of 2017. Catch Linore at the Write On!
