Author Event: Mia Tarduno

Join Mia Tarduno in a book reading and discussion, unearthing stories of women from around the world and topics that connect us all.

Mia Tarduno delivers a unique combination of poetry and original artwork inspired by women of different ages, backgrounds, and countries, calling readers to question what is required of us to feel good enough. The poems, told in the first person, unearth topics of vulnerability, adventure, women’s issues, body image, worthiness, connection, pleasure, and resiliency. Through hearing stories of women from around the world, Good Enough helps us to recognize that we are not alone in our struggles; we are not alone in our confusion; we are not alone in feeling different; we are not alone in our healing; and we are not alone in our joy. These stories and illustrations are meant to expose, relate, connect, heal, and inspire us all.

Mia Tarduno is a women's mentor, yoga instructor, and women's gathering facilitator. Her mission is to connect people with their natural states of being to restore balance in their health, lifestyle, work, and relationships. She teaches workshops, classes, and works with individuals one on one using the modalities of yoga, movement, rituals, and exploring vulnerable moments and conversations.
